Every month, since October 1986, ASEP has asked for the rating that Spaniards give to different institutions, social groups and political, economic and social Readers. As seems logical, every month the Government of Spain and its President have been included in such ratings. Below one may find the time series corresponding the rating of the present Socialist Government of Spain since its constitution in May 2004, after winning the elections in March of that year, and the rating of its President since that same date (because of having won the elections of 2008 also). Both ratings show a quite constant and pronounced decreasing trend, with the exception of a certain increase precisely some time before and some time after the 2008 elections, with a more intense decrease since January 2009.
